About Serenity

The Siren Herself

Sultry, a little bawdy, and very talented, Serenity Stewart is a star; a stunningly talented songstress with a naughty twinkle in her eye and plenty of curves all around. Classically trained as a soprano, she now stands firmly in the traditions of jazz and the standards. Serenity began her love affair with singing when she was eight years old, first performing in church, and she has never looked back. Today, she is a seasoned performer as well as an award-winning actress who has delighted audiences on both stage and screen throughout her long career. Serenity’s loyal followers have stood by her through the years as she has overcome tragedy and adversity and shown herself as a true survivor. In a love letter to her fans, Serenity released her album, P.S. I Love You, a compilation of jazz standards drawn from the Great American Songbook. The album was aptly recorded in Las Vegas, the home of swing, and brings listeners back in time as she sings the perennial themes of love, loss and separation. “While other kids were listening to rock-and-roll, I spent my childhood playing dress up in my mother’s clothes and singing along to her old records. I have always loved this music. The melodies and lyrics have a simple emotional impact, the themes are timeless.” When she’s good, she’s very good. And when she’s bad, she’s even better. These days Serenity is more pin up than dress up, and these aren’t her mother’s clothes. Glamorous and alluring, with a personality as big as her sound, this diva breathes fresh air into the standards, delivering powerful interpretations of these beloved songs. Through her iconic performances at clubs and private events, Serenity continues to introduce contemporary audiences to this enduring music. Her live shows are both entertaining and memorable as she musically swings the audience through a wickedly funny and nostalgic journey into another era.
